About · Chris McIntyre · The Cairns AI Guy
Chris McIntyre,the Cairns AI Guy.
Chris McIntyre is the founder of Cairns IT Guy, an AI-agent-powered IT company serving businesses across Cairns, Far North Queensland and Australia. Locally he's known as the Cairns AI Guy.
Chris runs IT the new way. He does the hands-on work and signs off every job, while AI agents do the heavy lifting alongside him: building, fixing, deploying and securing in parallel. Businesses get more done, faster, and still have one local person who knows their setup and is accountable for it.
He works across everything a business runs on: everyday IT support, servers and computers, networks, NBN and fibre, UniFi and camera systems, VoIP phone systems, Microsoft 365, Entra and SharePoint, cybersecurity and backups, email and data migrations, and data recovery right up to forensic hard drive recovery under a HEPA filter.
On the build side, Chris designs and builds custom software, websites, AI websites and Shopify stores, and runs AI SEO, Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads campaigns. He also builds AI agents and automation, and private AI deployments hosted in Australia for businesses that must keep their data onshore.
Cairns IT Guy works with businesses only, not home users.
